By bus for 8 USD one way with one of the bus companies who has a terminal in the North of Quito (Mariscal), so you avoid going to the outlying bus terminals (terminales terrestres). Ask for the companies Panamericana, TransEsmeraldas o Transoccidental. The journey takes about 7 – 8 hours.
 
Once in Atacames you catch a triciclo (motorized tricycle). If the driver will bring you to another hotel please insist to go to the CHILL INN. They may try to bring you to a dirty, cheaper hotel only to get some dollars extra from them). Tell the driver to take direction PLAYA. When you see in front of you a wall written “Cabañas los Bohios”, you enter left and after some meters you will find the hostel CHILL INN on your right (white house with 3 floors). As the hostel is new maybe people does not know the name CHILL INN so better you tell them that it is in front of the Hotel Bachita (en frente del hotel Bachita). This transport costs 0.50 cents per person.
 
By airplane for around 70 USD one-way. The flight duration is about 30 minutes. When you are interested in we will try to organize an Airport Transfer for you.
 
If not you can take a cab that should not cost more than 20 USD. Arriving to Atacames tell the driver that he takes direction to the Malecón.
